Growth Training - 'Growing the Business Through Your People'
Traineeships
Once the initial phase of culture re-alignment is well under way it is time to `up-skill employees to the level and the manner that the company prefers. A government funded traineeships program presents the perfect opportunity to activate the entire site, leverage funding to support the process and implement the changes.
After conducting a comprehensive training needs analysis, which identifies all those employees working more than 12 hours per week, Growth runs a briefing session with the employees. The briefing session involves the New Apprenticeship Centre, Growth’s account manager and the nominated trainer and serves to inform, educate, enroll and activate the employees into a skill based training program which is aligned to the job they perform. Training is then scheduled to begin 3-4 weeks later and then locked into a regular monthly cycle.
As `on the job’ training commences all KPI’s are tracked and reported by Growth back to the owner. Skill development, training progress and funding procurement are all measured as part of Growth’s HR & Training Program. The certificate 2,3 & 4 training programs are recognised as formal qualifications across Australia and New Zealand.
